Development basis
The geometry is being refined around a real ICA Volta 146 used as the primary development camera.

A newly manufactured holder intended to bring compatible ICA Volta plate cameras back into regular photographic use with modern 9x12 cm sheet film.
This model is meant for photographers and collectors who own a compatible ICA Volta body but lack usable original cassettes, or prefer a newly made holder for practical field work.
The design intent is not to modernize the camera visually, but to preserve the original shooting experience while replacing the component that is most often missing or compromised.
The geometry is being refined around a real ICA Volta 146 used as the primary development camera.
Mechanical fit, dark-slide operation, light-trap reliability and film-plane consistency are still under active validation.
Final price, lead time, finished photos and broader model coverage will be added once validation is complete.

Compatibility should not be inferred from format alone. Two 9x12 cameras may use different cassette interfaces even when they appear similar externally.
If you own an ICA Volta or a closely related camera, send the exact model name and any measurements or photos of the back and rails. That helps confirm whether your camera matches the current holder geometry.
