Compatibility database

Does it fit your camera?

Not every 9x12 camera uses the same holder interface. Manufacturer, model family and back construction all matter, and apparently similar cameras can differ in rail shape, register depth and light-trap geometry.

Tested

Physically installed and checked on that camera by Classic Film Holders.

User verified

Confirmed in practical use by a customer, collector or external tester.

Unverified

The camera may be related or dimensionally promising, but physical compatibility is not yet confirmed.

How compatibility is assessed

Format alone is not enough. A holder can only be considered compatible once the back interface, insertion depth, seat geometry and film-plane relationship are checked against a real camera or a reliable dimensional record.

If your camera is not listed yet, it does not automatically mean it is incompatible. It means the fit has not been confirmed to the standard required for publication here.

Help confirm more cameras

Send model details

The exact camera name, format and any markings on the back or rails are useful starting points.

Photos help

Clear photos of the rear standard, rail profile and an original holder are often enough to judge whether deeper measurement is worth pursuing.

Measurements welcome

If you can measure rail spacing, insertion depth or the original cassette, that can accelerate compatibility assessment considerably.
